Unsolicited calls

Within the last four weeks I have been receiving unsolicited calls....about 1 a day,  from landline numbers.

These calls are mainly coming from the North of England and in the main the phone is telling me they are mainly restaurants, and take ways, but also a couple of launderettes, hair salons and a safety barrier company. The numbers seem to relate to genuine business listed on the internet searches, but I have no connection or relationship with any of the callers. I have not answered any of the calls as I suspect they are some kind of scam.

Anyone had similar experiences?

Welcome to the community.

It's difficult to say whether they're genuine. There's a possibility that it could be scammers using call spoofing, but there's a chance they're genuine calls too. If you decide to answer them, don't give them any of your information.
