It's always best to be cautious when receiving messages like this, as we would never send a text asking for you to respond with personal details. It sounds like you've done the right thing by freezing your bank card if you entered such details. I'd suggest also making your bank aware just to be extra safe.
If you were prompted to log into anything to do this, I'd also advise changing any passwords too.

Its a common scam. Some times its scam calls and sometimes you get a SMS message. Change your login details ASAP and keep an eye on your account.
