Scammed

I recently gave my number to whom I thought was my friend that needed a verification code from me to get back into their account on something. Little did I know, they had been hacked and it was a scammer trying to get a verification for my phone number so they can add my phone bill a payment method on their PlayStation. I am now wondering what do I do to stop all payments going to my phone bill as I can't call or get through to EE right now.

Someone please help

@Trident1066  You have to call customer support and customer support is now open.   No one will ever request a code from you in order to gain access to their account your account/number has nothing to do with their account.  This had scam all over it.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Trident1066 Just to echo @Chris_B This definitely sounds like an attempt to scam you.

I'd recommend visiting our online security page for advice on how to avoid scams and when to do next.

I'd also recommend getting in touch with our customer service team so that they can check to see if any attempts have been made to access your account.

To speak to our customer service team, you'd just need to dial 150 from an EE phone, or 07953 966 150 from any other device.
