I get emails from ee stating that I have turned off security but when I check the Norton app it shows that it is turned on

Welcome to the community,
Can you check your device/devices to see if they are set to secure them in settings EE Cyber Security, also check that VPN is showing in cntrol centre , if it is then it should be working. Might be worth rebooting your device/devices to see if that solves it.
