Hi @1lla1,

Welcome to the EE Community

I am sorry to hear you are having an issue with some nuisance calls on your new number. As there is a finite number of available UK mobile numbers, mobile numbers are recycled once cancelled. So though the number is new to yourself, likely it has been an active number in the past.

Numbers are not recycled straightaway and are held in quarantine for an extended period before being put into use again to help avoid any issues like yours, though they can still occasionally occur. If you are receiving a large number of nuisance calls to your number you can request a number change by calling us on 150.
