I’ve had a text that is supposedly from EE today. Asking if I want to enter the Easter competition. When clicking on the link it takes me to this link : https://eoi.ee.co.uk/?s_cid=con_ee_eng-mob_ee_mms_easter-t1-30-03-2023
asks me to prove my number for a PIN code then nothing. Have I been a victim of a scam?

What was the exact wording of the original text message?
If the page is only asking for your mobile number, which is already known by virtue of the text being sent to you, I don't see anything that a scammer would gain by this. The link also appears to be a subdomain of ee.co.uk

Hi @davemoss
Welcome to the community.
The message is from us. Once you enter the PIN, it should take you to a landing page for you to register your information and preferred method of contact
Once you've registered, we'll contact you if you win.

If it’s a sub domain I won’t worry about it then. Thanks for the prompt response.

Hi
I have had the same message, sent me a pin but nowhere to enter it 🤔

Scam, I get the pin but no direction what to do next, I didn’t find nothing in official website.
SCAM!!

Thanks, but after getting the pin there is nowhere to put it on the page!
The page says failed to send pin, but a pin may or may not arrive.

That link keeps saying "FAILED TO SEND CODE" but many 1-Time PINs received at SIM'med device & nowhere to put them.

Hi,
I received and email from ee for an Easter competition.
I chose opt in and entered my phone number to receive a code. Which I didn’t then get.
Is this from ee or will this be an issue on my phone.
