I received a phonecall from a random mobile number and they were claiming to offer me 40% on my current contract offer.
They said I would receive a text from EE with a pin code and wanted me to verify what the code was. The text was a genuine EE text message but it was "Your PIN for resetting your EE ID security answer..."
I was always suspicious of the phonecall but he sounded like he was in a call centre and he uses the genuine EE message as a way to "verify that it's legit".
As soon as I hung up another random mobile number rang but I just ignored it.
The numbers were:
07393 369016
07442 424829

It's probably a scam as the call came from a mobile no. & not a landline that EE usually uses.

Looks like you've given away access to your MyEE. If you can still get into it I should check it's all OK & change your pwd & other creds.
