Someone has just called my number and said they’ve had a missed call from me. But I haven’t phoned anyone. Should I be worried?

Your no. has been spoofed, probably by scammers to hide their id while scamming others. The Number Spoofing Scam - Ofcom explains what could be causing this. It usually dies down after a short time, but if you feel like you need to, you can change your number through our Customer Support team.

The issue here is that other users are faking their caller-ID. Restarting your phone or having your config refreshed will have no impact here.
