A 3rd party who I sold me old phone to is claiming it is blacklisted. How do I check the status of phones that have been on my account ? Is it only EE that can blacklist it? ( It was locked to EE) . I have no issues with payments etc and have not reported any phone as stolen ? Any help appreciated 👍

You can contact EE Customer services on 0800 956 6000 and give them the IMEI number of the phone and they can tell you if there were any Blacklisted Blocks on the phone, they will not, however tell you any other information on the Phone or any reasons of any Blocks on the Device as it was not originally your own Phone.

If you have access to your account and that phone was once on it you can ring 150 and they can check the black list status for you. Under certain circumstances they may be able to un-blacklist too
