sim only to sim only upgrade, esim?

Hi, i'm planning to change deal / contract for my sim only contract, using the upgrade facility on my ee. I'm currently using an esim. When i 'upgrade' will i get a physical sim and then have to go through the pain of converting to esim again, or will the new deal just apply to my current esim? Thanks

Unless things have changed you cannot move an eSim from one Device to another, so your need to activate a new eSim again.

 

Probably the easiest and quickest way is to take your new Phone (plus ID) into an EE Store where they should be able to provide another eSim Pack and Activate it.

Thanks for replying. I'm not changing handset, so will be keeping the same handset which has an esim, just changing my 'sim only' deal to a better one. Thanks

@cjf1   As it’s only an account change you’ll continue using the eSim.  

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
