sim activation

EE keep asking me to activate my sim. The phone seems to work so why? Activation goes wrong on EE website.

Thanks for coming to the community.

Have you recently received a new SIM?

Usually if the current SIM works there should be no need to activate another one.

Is it a text that is asking you to update the SIM? If so, can you share a screenshot?

New sim becouse the prehistoric old one would not fit my new phone. I get texts asking to activate the new one but it appears to be working.
