number port

Hi

I received a EE PAYG sim and I'm trying to port my previous number from another provider, but I keep seeing 'Please make sure you enter the right phone number. It must be a UK phone number and start with 07.' the number is auto added to the page, so I'm unsure what the issue is.

Thanks

@ma551ve  if you’re having issues using the online form, then you can call customer services and they’ll be happy to do this for you.  Number ports take up to 24 hours, so if you call now should be done around this time tomorrow.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

No worries.. I'll give them a call tomorrow. Just out of curiosity, would you have any ideas what's wrong with the online process? The message makes no sense!

I've never had any issues with other smaller providers when porting a number to them

Hey @ma551ve

I think I've seen this issue before.

The form throws up that error when the PAYT sim isn't fully registered (with your name, address, DOB etc. - it can be completed online).

Fixing that should resolve the issue but I got round if by letting someone on live chat arrange the port for me.
