eSim not working

Hello.

I have just joined EE having switched from another Network Provider. I opted to keep my number and went through through whole process with my PAC number.

I chose to have an eSim and therefore do not have a physical sim card.

The eSim appears to be correctly installed, but I have no data and I cannot make or receive calls or texts.

I called EE directly and they tried to help, but the problem persists.

Please advise.

The normal process here is for your new SIM to be supplied with a temporary number. On first connection to EE's network, the phone is fully functional and your PAC is then submitted. That will trigger port-in of your number on the following working day.

Where are you in that process, and what day did you first put your SIM in a phone and connect it to EE's network? When did you request a conversion to eSIM?

Contacting EE CS was the best course of action, they have access to your individual account. What did they offer by means of assistance?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Nothing I tried worked, so I called EE up again and they were very helpful. The issue ended up being that the port-in of my number was unsuccessful on their end, there was some kind of block. All fixed now.
