Transferring number

I’ve joined EE from Vodafone. I purchased the contract in a shop, and I gave them my PAC number so I could keep my number when I moved over to EE.

As instructed I put my new SIM card into my phone when I got home and the staff member said it normally takes around 24 hours, but it’s been a couple of days now and I’m getting a bit concerned that the new number hasn’t been sorted. I’ve not had any texts or correspondence to say it’s been transferred or in the process of being transferred.

I’ve looked into my online account and there’s nothing on there either so I’m not really sure what to do now!

What day did you give your PAC?

Number transfers don't happen at weekends, and are normally actioned the working day following the PAC submission - providing that's before 5.30pm.

Hi @AdamS99

Welcome to the community. 🙂

@bristolian is absolutely correct here. The port is likely to go through today before midnight tonight. Your old SIM will switch off and the number will port to your new EE SIM card.

Ahh I see! Yes it was Saturday I gave my PAC number so that would explain it. Thanks so much for that you’ve put my mind at ease!
