I’ve been trying to transfer my old number to my new sim but keep getting the error message that my new number is incorrect, but it’s definitely not, I’ve tried getting through on 150 for days with no luck

Are you bringing in a number from another network using a PAC code? Or are you transferring an EE number from one SIM to another SIM?

Thanks for getting back to us and explaining the issue.
Is the temporary EE number you have been provided showing on your device? You can check this by going to settings > about device > Check mobile phone number.
Did you provide the PAC code when taking out the contract? or before filling in the online form?

When you receive your new EE sim, text PORT to 150 from it and this will allow you to submit your PAC Code and transfer your number. It asks first for the number you want to transfer from your previous network (this can be from any network apart from EE), and then for the PAC code. It works a little easier than the Web tool or having to call.
If you are trying to transfer an EE number from one EE SIM to another you must contact customer services for this.
