On the 24/1/23 i transferred my old O2 number onto an EE sim, pak code given to EE operative, was told could take upto 48hrs to sort out and settle down, its now the 28/1/23 and still no connection of any kind unless i use WIFI calling, i have phoned EE numerous times, they have checked things their end and say its showing no problem 🤔 the sim manager on my phone is sayin its disconnected, i have been sent diagnostics to try my end and nothing. Rang EE again today because its affecting my mental health, i have C-PTSD and i cant go out incase i have a meltdown/anxiety attack because i have no phone connection to get help, my friend is saying go to another provider because of how its affecting me but im too mentally exhausted, i was told today they will send another Sim with my number already on it, i doubt this will sort the problem at all, any advice please? Sorry for the lng txt just feel like a "rabbit caught between headlights" dont know  here to turn, thanks in advance.

If you gave EE a PAC before 5pm on Tuesday 24/01, that should have been actioned on Wednesday 25/01 and be complete by Thursday 26/01

Your phone should still be active on your temporary number, even if there is an issue with the port-in. Whilst you are correct to pursue EE C/S to resolve this, there may be a dependency on O2's port-out which might be delaying the resolution.

If 24/7/365 connectivity is important to you, then I'd recommend using an alternative working phone/SIM in the meantime.

Thankyou for your reply, EE have said they will send another sim, i dont have another phone or sim to try, i just have to wait and really hope it gets resolved soon, cant take this much longer.

I have still had no solution to the problem im having with my Sim card and its making me more ill, it has been almost a week now since my EE Sim was activated, i still have no calls, txts or data unless i use "WI-FI calling" which is useless when im out with my dog, if i have a mental breakdown i cant ring/txt anyone for help, im on the PSR register as i have serious mental health issues (C-PTSD) but this does,nt make any difference, im still waiting for another sim to arrive and im still getting billed for a service i cant use.

Good morning @dave4064

Welcome back to the community.

I am sorry to hear your new SIM has not yet arrived. SIM deliveries arrive via Royal Mail post and we do advise this can take between 2-5 days to arrive once it has been ordered.

Did a member of our customer care team order another SIM?

Are you aware if you have a local EE Store near? a SIM could be collected from there.

If you are not sure about being near a local store please use our Store Finder.

Speak soon,

Katie

Thank you Katie for your reply, im not 100% convinced that a different Sim will solve this issue but im hoping it does, i can't get a Sim from an EE shop as i dont go to town anymore due to my illness.
