Transfer from Plusnet

Hi,

I have filled in the form on EE website to move from Plusnet to EE on 29 Nov.  I have given the PAC number and chose a sim-only package.  I have received the email on 29 Nov which says "your new number will be transferred to your current number within 24 hours", and a few days later, maybe 2 Dec, I have recieved the sim card from EE by post.  I have not tried the sim card yet and my Plusnet sim card is still working.

So, when does '24 hours' for porting my Plusnet mobile number to EE sim card starts?  What is the procedure to start using the new EE sim card with my old (currently Plusnet) number?  Thanks  for your help.

It takes about 1 working day after you receive & activate your EE SIM.
