Since porting i cant make outgoing calls but can receive incoming

Hi

I ported my EE mobile number to Lyca (which uses EE) because it was much cheaper. However, since porting I cant make out going calls or send texts (incoming is fine).

Is this a problem with the device being locked to the network or is the porting not yet complete ?

Thanks for your help

If you have ported out and provided your EE PAC to another provider, it is they you should contact with any porting issues. The provider of Lyca's radio coverage is immaterial, they are another operator and have their own CS systems.

EE provide text confirmation when porting is complete, and thus any residual issues should then be reported to CS - I would assume this is standard, but have no direct experience of Lyca.

The symptoms of a SIM-locked device would be the SIM not working with a "device locked" error message or similar.
