Sim swap

I have lost my SIM so I ordered a replacement. Came today I put it inside the phone and I have no signal. Iv tried everything and it won't work. No I haven't changed phones or anything else the replacement SIM just says no signal whatever I do

@ChiefBIG092MLBO  SIM cards take up to 24 hours to activate but try restarting the device a few times.   It’s usually only takes a few hours though.

Hi, so i called EE and they said they sent me an a sim that you have to activate which is wrong because mine shouldv been an already active one that works. Since it's just a SIM swap for a lost SIM. A new one is coming in the post. Thanks for trying to help anyways
