Sim suddenly saying no service

My son’s phones screen went blank yesterday and hasn’t come back on despite still being traceable. However when we have put his sim card in an old phone it says no service? He is on a sim only plan. We have tried his sim in a few phones and it says no service? How do we get him back up and running please?

@Blues1875 , you may need to get a replacement SIM card, as it is not working in any other phone, as it looks like the SIM card has developed a fault. You can either get a replacement SIM card by ordering it online or by phone or with a valid photo ID in an EE high street store, but make sure it is a replacement SIM card.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

If the phone's screen has gone blank it's nowt to do with the SIM, but a faulty phone. OK Phones still work with faulty or invalid SIMs. After all phones can go on WiFi w/out needing a SIM.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Yeah I know his phone is done but my sim works in the spare phone but his sim is not working in any phone. So I’m trying to get him back up and running with a sim

Is his SIM on contract or PAYG?

It’s a sim only contract.
