Sim not working

Just changed my phone provider and went with ee for my sim delivered the other day and putted it in my phone but it just says no service and nothing seems to be working, tried to active it again but nothing, the number on the packed doesn’t work on the ee account or my current numbe that I am transferring

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

My last carrier was giffgaff and in my phone settings under the network provider lock says there is no sim restrictions

Is there another phone that you could try the SIM card in, just to see if it's activated and working?
