Sim card help

I've just received my new som card. I'm porting my number from O2 to EE they have had all the pac code etc and have sent me the new sim. The new sim has a different number associated to it. Will that update once I put this new sim in my phone and update to the number I've ported?

Yeah once the process to port your number over as finished that temporary number will turn into yre number you transferred over to EE . Porting numbers over to EE usually take 24 hours ish but can take longer if done over weekend

Is there a certain time it takes to change over as its my work number and can't be outv off touch for too long

If done during week usually 24 hours max. Just keep periodically turning you’re phone on and off to see if it works but also once yre old 02 sim stops working yre new EE sim shouldn’t be long after working with the number you transferred from 02.

On the day of your port-in, which is usually the working day after you activate your new SIM, you will have "split port" behaviour during the day where you would be wise to carry both phones if connectivity is critical to you.

You should receive a text message from EE once your port-in is complete, which can be anytime upto midnight.

Yes but a very poor service - my problem exactly change over to EE and out of contact for up to 24 hours with

no incoming calls
