Hi,
I'm from Brisbane Australia, I'm currently in the UK with my iphone 14 which is not tied to any network.
I have a monthly EE acount and a UK number.
The plan was to put an EE eSim onto the phone.
I received an EE eSim QR code but all attempts to successfully install the eSim have failed.
I have tried switching off the Australian sim as the experts in the EE shop in Wells suggested that may be interferring with the eSim??
Anyway that hasn't made any difference. Still failure.
Does anyone have any idea what I could try next please!!!!
As my time in the UK is limited a prompt response would be so appreciated.

Hi @howard17
Thanks for coming here.
Is the account a pay monthly contract or a monthly pay as you go account?
Leanne.

Hi Leanne
It's a pay monthly account contract.

Hi
I'm planning to go back to Wells EE shop on Friday pm. Presumably they will have an active EE card there?

The IPhone 14 Pro only has space for one physical sim card and the other connection has to be an eSIm.
Can you suggest why a physical EE Sim card will work and an eSim wont please.

Hi @howard17
There should be no reason this would not work if the phone in unlocked, and a monthly contract.
The store will be able to run some further checks for you.
Leanne.

UPDATE:
staff at Wells shop unable to get the eSim to work and after further diagnostics could not discover a reason!
suggested I order a physical SIM, install and then MAYBE the eSim would load.........

Hello @howard17.
Was a physical SIM not provided in the EE Store?
Did the store speak with our technical care team?
