Is it a brand new SIM, or is it a replacement/upgrade? Is it a contract SIM or pay as you go?

I have a sim that’s on a contract, I changed phones and it gave an option for e sim, I selected it and it said error but still de activated my sim

Welcome to the Community!

I can appreciate how frustrating it must be to have had your SIM deactivated, if your eSIM activation hasn't completed. Are you able to visit an EE store, with some photo ID, so they can get you sorted with a replacement SIM?

Pay as you go

Ive had to get a new sim with original number as the old phone was lost. It wont work in the replacement phone
