Putting SIM in new phone

Morning all

As soon as Apple get stock in, I’ll buy a 17 Pro Max and return my 13 for trade in. I’m not futzing with eSIMs. I can just take the SIM out of the old phone and put it in the new phone, right, and away I go?

Yes, just make sure if the Quick Start process mentions anything about transferring your number you skip that part via "Set up later in Settings" or a similar option.

Otherwise this will initiate an eSIM conversion.
