Porting to a long standing account

I've had a number with EE for many years. I want to port a number from my long standing Vodaphone payg. Will EE accept it or is there a time limit after opening an account?

Age of a/c doesn't come into it. If you're still paying your monthly contract fees for your a/c you may always port a no. in to it.
