Ported to EE, phone still shows Plusnet?

Migrated and ported number successfully to EE from plusnet a few weeks back. New EE sim in phone. However my provider is still showing as Plusnet on the phone

🆗 I've finally managed to get to the bottom of this.
For some reason the carrier name was still set as Plusnet despite an EE SIM being installed.
By manually editing the carrier name to EE in the status bar settings, then rebooting the phone, fixes the problem. My phone now displays EE correctly

Please try a Network Reset. Search for it in settings - It will look something like the below.

@Alex_M

Performed network reset and Rebooted, still showing plusnet as network.

I thought that the network ID was coded onto the SIM?

My experience with Plusnet to EE porting.

19 June: signed up. Told that number porting would be automatic!

21 June: received and activated the new EE SIM

25 June: number still with Plusnet. Called 150 using the EE SIM and subsequently sent an SMS to enter my Plusnet mobile number and PAC code. Received further SMS that porting would complete by 6pm on the 27 June, i.e. 8 days after signing up.

For me, the porting process is poorly communicated and taking far too long.

I hope that this is helpful to you.

Cheers, Martin
