I have just changed from 3 network, provided my pac to ee and given import date as 1/10/25 ( today). Is there specific times this will happen? and also so i am still reachable on my old number i have my 3 sim card in the phone along with the ee esim. Having both of these running until the number change gets sorted won't affect it will it?

It's completely normal for service to be split on the day of a port-in. Having both SIMs running is perfectly safe, the port should be complete by the end of the working day in most cases.
