I need to unblock my sim but the PUK code showing on my account is only 7 digits - the phone will not accept that, says 8 or more are required. Help, please!

Thanks for replying, I have spoken several times to them, they sent a new sim card with a new puk number it didn't work. I spoke to them again 3 days ago they promised to send another card it still hasn't arrived, I did stress I need my phone for medical reasons, they were going to call me today but so far I have heard nothing.
