PAC code

Hello, my EE contract ended yesterday and I need to request a PAC code from EE in order to transfer my phone number to a new network. I cannot text EE to get the PAC code as my number has been cut off. Anybody have any suggestions how I could do this tonight please (EE customer service phone-line isn’t open until 8AM tomorrow)?

Thank you in advance

Hi @eleanorecostelo

Welcome to the community.

As mentioned above, your contract wouldn't just end, unless you had contacted us to give 30 days notice to cancel.

If you have done this, you'd need to speak to our customer service guides, so they can look to reactivate the line and issue a PAC so you can transfer the number.

If you haven't requested this, the line would still be active on a rolling 30 day plan.

You can also see how to request a PAC online on our What is a Port Authorisation Code (PAC) page if the line is still active.

@eleanorecostelo : Not tonight! You'll need to phone CS for your PAC in the AM.

Why's your no. cut off?

What's the hurry?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

@eleanorecostelo  Did you give 30 days notice to terminate the contract?  Your contract doesn’t just end at the minimum term it changes to a 30 day rolling contract until you give notice or request a use a PAC or STAC with a new provider.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
