Obtaining a PAC Code

Paulis
Visitor

I hold a mobile phone issued by my former employer, which went into administration on 12th August.  Since then, I have been attempting to obtain a PAC Code to hand over to my new employer in order that I can keep the mobile phone number I had for eight years, a massive benefit in my role as a Business Development Manager.

As the named account holder, my former CEO attempted to help me out and made several approaches to EE, to obtain the PAC code on my behalf, all without success.  My CEO advises me now that the matter is in the hands of the appointed administrator.  I have spoken to the administrator today to enquire as to their progress in obtaining my PAC code from EE but I have been advised yet again that their requests have also been been unsuccessful.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

@Paulis  the business account is now in the hands of the Administrator it’s down to them to get this.   Moving your number away will mean that the contract it’s on will have to be paid off to the minimum term date and that means the administrator has to pay this (they probably don’t want to deal with that yet)

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I sympathise with this, having transferred numbers in a similar fashion before.

However - ownership of the number lies with the account holder, and it is they who EE will take instructions from. That you have agreement from the former-account holder is encouraging, but ultimately worthless if they no longer have control.

If there are any outstanding amounts on the account, that will complicate issues all the more.
