I moved from O2 to EE last week, applied porting when I bought sim. O2 sim has stopped working but EE sim is only functional partially.
I can’t receive any calls or messages.
all my financial services and work related services are tied to my number for authentication.
Customer service from EE is the worst, I have used Vodafone O2 Lyca Lebara etc.
I never get helpful response. I raised a ticket case id 21558479 , SLA is 72 hours. I requested to escalate this as it is impacting me financially, but the customer service executives have not been helpful at all.
I will be leaving EE straight away once number moves, as cant get tied up in contract with this customer service for 2 years. I have 14 days cool off period out if which 7 days are done.
Did anyone have similar issues and were able to expedite the issue resolution?
any help will be very much appreciated

@SunilK7 - No the customer support executive I spoke to last week said he was team lead promised to give me updates every day. As expected he did not. When I asked for updates and one email i asked for the process of obtaining deadlock letter and details of complaint team, closed my ticket and said complaint team will reach out to me and he cannot do anything else. He stopped responding to my emails.
Called 150 they again opened a new ticket and asked me to wait for 72 hours. It is a joke for EE right now. They have no accountability at all.
i don’t want to lose my number I am stuck in limbo, Lycamobile said they cant do anything I need to speak to EE, O2 have said the same. Don’t know what to do!
what about you, any luck?

@Ali258 Nothing different... Been on the call for an hour again and they have no update nor an ETA.

@Ali258 I presume no luck still. I have contacted other providers and they say there is no partial service issue in porting and ideally EE shouldn't have acknowledged the porting if they haven't received any such files. So they say if I port back the number to any of those providers they are happy to offer the service. I am asking EE to release me of the contract as they are unable to provide an ETA to close the issue not the alternative option to what happens if they don't receive such files from Lyca as they claim.
Let me know if you have heard any different.

Finally have received the porting complete message today after 20days and started receiving calls and texts.
