Number transfer

My number is meant to be porting from my old network to EE today. Just wandering could this be any time today? as I've not received any messages saying the transfers started. But I also can't seem to log onto my account when I enter my details is says we can't process that request right now ring this number

Hello @Hannah163.

If you submit the form before 5.30pm on a working day, we will endeavour to have your number transferred the following working day.

If your request is made after 5.30pm, or made on a weekend or bank holiday, your number will take two working days to transfer.

We do recommend allowing up till midnight tonight for the port to complete. 

Are you an iPhone user? if yes, you may also be required to update 'My number' within your phone settings.

Yea I made the request after half 5 Friday. I'll wait and see until tomorrow 

I've now had the message saying my existing number has now transferred but messages are still coming through my old phone on my old network

The number port can take up until midnight to fully go through. It may be worth trying to restart the phone every now and again.

If it still hasn't fully transferred by tomorrow morning, please let us know.

Is my chat features in my messages and my about phone I settings supposed to be my number I've transferred or the number of the SIM card. Because it's the number of the SIM card. My old network has shut of now. 

Update. Everything seems to work but not my messaging. So messages aren't coming through to my new phone wit the transferred number and when I text it's showing up on other peoples phone as the wrong number not the transferred number. It's Google pixel 6a that I have

Can you try restarting the phone to see if this makes any difference?

If your messages still aren't working, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team so they can check the status of your port.
