I've had exactly the same problem!!
On the first day I turned phone off and bk on again and I had network coverage. Now that doesn't fix it either.
Have you spoken to.EE yet? I'm going to a store tomorrow.

My phone is saying No sim and emergency calls only although there is a sim and pymt is on direct debit. The first day this happened I turned the phone off and bk on again and I was connected to ee. It reverted bk after an hour or so. Since then, whether I turn it off and bk on again, it's emergency cslls only. Phone will only work when connected to WiFi, it wouldn't let me register my parking space with RingGo, which was a pain!

Hi there @LW65, thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community.
Have you tried testing the phone in multiple locations? This can give a good idea if this is linked to coverage or something else.
What model of phone is it you're using, too?

If sim was working it would say No Service not No Sim

Thanks for confirming that @LW65.
I appreciate this may not be possible, but if you can, it's worth trying your SIM in a different handset to see if the issue carries over.
It's worth checking to make sure all of the software on your phone is up to date too.

Hi, well the sim was taken out, blown on and put bk in and phone has reverted bk to working! Fingers crossed it carries on. It's just a little strange others have had a similar issue.

Well that didn't last long!! Within the hour it was bk to saying emergency calls only!
Off to the EE shop tomorrow it seems.
Maybe time to give another supplier a go....am overdue an upgrade anyway.

Thanks for sharing the details of what happened here @LW65.
A replacement SIM will definitely be a good shout to rule this out as an issue, but if this still persists then it could be worth giving a different phone a try.
