Hi I need to talk to someone on EE live chat because before I was with EE and I lost my old phone with my number so I was wondering if I can get my old number back

When did you lose your phone and number, how long ago?
Did you report it to EE?: They would have sent you a replacement SIM card with your number, which you should have done, to block anyone being able to use your phone and SIM card.
I would suggest you speak to customer service as we have no way of doing anything about this, but if it has been a while, then you would not get it back, as it will have been recycled, by first putting it into quarantine and then recycled,..
Live chat is only for customers on monthly contract, not for pay as you go, which you can find in the EE App by clicking on help.

Did you not report the loss of your phone and request a replacement SIM card?
If you are on pay as you go, and have not used the SIM card due to you not getting a replacement SIM card, then it might be too late to get it back, but if on a monthly contract, then there should be no problem, so long as you have made payments monthly.
I would suggest speaking to customer support to see what they can do, nothing we can do here in this public forum.
