Hi 

My SIM card is not working from yesterday and I am abroad right now my mobile number is **********

@Nchathli if you've not made a call since June, then there's a fair chance that this may have been placed into hibernation.

Hibernation will occur if there's no activity in a 179 day period, so if June was when you last actually called out, that would suggest a hibernation in December. 

The good news is that you get an additional 90 days after hibernation to query this and get the line reactivated, so I would definitely recommend reaching out to our team so we can get this checked out. 

If you're calling from abroad, the number is +44 7953 966 250, and you can also thing this through services like Skype too.

I've been away on and off. Last time I needed my SIM was 2 months ago. I only use my SIM to receive security code text messages every now and then.

When was it you last made a call, sent a text, or topped up this number?

With pay as you go if there's no activity within a 179 day period this will be placed into hibernation.

I am in Cairo yes I received a welcome message

I topped up £10 yesterday 

Last message I received from my medical insurance Bupa and from EE in 4/10/2024
