Moving my old number to ee

I’m trying to get my old BT number transferred to ee but it doesn’t seem to accept the pac code that BT gave me

Hi @Glyn535.

Are you trying to complete the online form?

Are you getting an error message?

Jon

I have same problem with the online form rejecting my BT PAC code.

The code begins with BTC and has six digits.

I see the problem now and understand that the PAC codes have been pre-assigned to a phone number and have to choose the right phone number for each of my two phones

Have you managed to get this to work after spotting the problem, @iain59g?

I was moved from BT to EE - was told I didn't need to do anything and everything would be seamless. A new SIM arrived which I wasn't expecting. Assuming the number would have already been transferred I put it my phone to realise my number has changed. I have texted etc to BT for a PAC but got one back to say they need to talk to me but that's impossible. Is there an easier way to do this online - neither company have a chat facility apparently ?

Hi @bob263318

It's possible that the number port is already set up and in the process after entering the SIM card. If you speak to our Mobile Care team, they'll be able to check it for you.
