Moving mobile number

Ghoadley14

I've just received my ee SIM card and installed in mobile having already provided PAC code from previous provider.  So far I've received nothing to say that my number is moving over - when will I know if this process is commencing and is there anything else I need to do?
Many thanks

It should port within 1 working day of 1st using your new EE SIM.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I have the same issue. While I wait for the number to move across, is it normal to be given a new number?

Welcome to the community, @Snax

Yes, you get a temporary EE number that is live until your number moves across from another network to replace it.

Chris

I have the same problem: gave the PAC code to EE online last Friday, on the telephone this Monday, and now, Friday evening,so D+7, still no port, but my old SIM is deactivated

D+7 or D+4 - still way beyond the advertised 24 hours (excluding weekends).

@Ex-Plusnet : What a coincidence! 28th Aug. was also a B.H. as was 2nd June.
