I have recently got a new phone with a different network and moved my number over but didn’t realise that it would cancel my ee contact, would I be able to keep my contract but get a new sim and number with it instead of having to pay a leaving fee

No, the very action of porting your no. to another cancels your contract. There is no option to move your contract to another EE no.

Hi @Sineadmac

You will need to speak to our Mobile Care team and your new provider to try and work this out.

Chris

Yes, but as a brand-new contract with a full contract term. You can't expect to resume a part-term cancelled contract where it left off.

How do I reapply for a cancelled account. I have contacted a member from ee and they said to reapply for the account and that I could do it online but I’m not sure where I would find it

@Sineadmac : Once you've cancelled your contract you cannot restart it. You would need to take out a new full term contract.
