Signed up for a new EE plan but i was given a new number yet i want to retain my current EE number. What do I do

A new plan will come with a new number as a matter of course. If you want to retain your existing number, you should have upgraded instead.
Assuming you bought your new plan online or via telesales, you'll need to cancel that under 14days statutory return, and then upgrade your existing line. If you bought your new plan via an EE retail shop, no right of return exists.
