Missing SIM card in the welcome pack

I’ve received my welcome pack from EE. As I’ve opened the pack and come to realise the card is there but the SIM card is missing ? Surely this isn’t normal ?..

What do you mean the card is there but the SIM isn't? What cards you talking about? A credit card sized card id affixed to the cardboard card & the SIM pops out of that.

The small sim you put into the phone isn’t there when I opened up the welcome pack. Just the card itself is where the SIM card is placed.
