Lost sim

I lost my SIM card, I have tried to replace it , but ee has said they cannot because the account the sim is attached to is not in my name, they have said that I must get the original account holder to get a new sim and also separate the number from the account. This  account is in my ex husband’s name, and the marriage ended due to domestic violence he is not to contact me and I have not contacted him In 3years, this SIM card receives a lot of messages and i need it to pay a lot of bills and taxes.

I am very sorry to hear about your situation. 

To organise a replacement SIM card we would need to speak to the account holder. I am very sorry if you're name is not on the EE account we would not be able to order a replacement SIM. 

You can order a new SIM pay as you go or pay monthly contract in your name on our EE Shop, this would have a new number that you would need to update with companies and contacts.
