Issue with porting number new EE to existing O2 number

I had requested to port EE mobile number to existing O2 mobile number. As per message from EE post providing the PAC code, this was supposed to be completed on 27th Dec 2024. However, it's not happened. I am unable to make calls or access data for the past 2 days. Unable to cal 150 too. I need a resolution soon. Please confirm if this will be done immediately.

Having already submitted your PAC to EE, your no. will be ported 1 working day after you activate your EE SIM on EE network. The earliest that can now be is Mon. 30th.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

My EE SIM was activated on 22nd Dec 2024 and I got message on the same day that the number will be ported on 27th Dec 2024.

Your new EE SIM will have a temporary number assigned when you first receive it. If a PAC was supplied as part of the order, that will be submitted when you first activate the new SIM onto EE's network. If you are unable to make calls or use mobile data, this is a separate issue and should not be caused by the pending port-in.

To clarify though, are you porting O2 > EE? Or EE > O2? O2 should be your contact if the latter, but "requested to port EE number to existing O2 mobile number" could be ambiguous.

It's O2 to EE..that was typing error

Hi @Swathisree

Do you have any signal on your new EE SIM?

Irrespective of your O2 number porting to your EE SIM, you should still be able to make calls and access data from your new SIM (either it will be with temporary EE number or ported O2 number).

If your EE SIM isn't working correctly there may be some other issues.

Did you get a new device with your EE SIM?
