How to get the old number back into use?

My mobile phone number has not been used for a long time and it looks as if it has been cancelled. Is there any way I can get this mobile number back into use? Because I need to use this number to receive some important message, so help please

Hi @Ys5 

 

The usual reason for this happening is that you have a PAYG line, and you've not used it for 6months or more. If so, you have a further 3months to reactivate your line before the number is permanently lost.
