How to get my old number?

Hello, I recently lost my EE number and am trying to get it back. I am unable to physically go into a store but my relative was told in store that I can order a new one online and request my old number. How do I do this? I do not believe it has been assigned elsewhere but my WhatsApp and bank accounts are linked to this and it is imperative that I get it back. Please help me.

Hi @munix

If your number was on pay as you go, it may have gone into hibernation, in which case, depending on how long it's been in hibernation, we may be able to reactivate the number for you.

If your number was on a monthly contract and is now terminated, it's unlikely we'll be able to retrieve the number for you.

It's worth giving us a call and speaking to one of our guides to see what is possible for you.

How did you lose your no. & when? Was its contract cancelled or did a PAYG SIM get completely deactivated?
