How to get a replacement SIM card without text?

Hiya my SIM card randomly stopped working and wouldn’t reset or find my network provider ?? Took it out to see scratches from wear and tear after almost 2 years in phone - why would that happen? 

how do I get replacement sim quickly without text because  network is unavailable when sim doesn’t work. Unable to speak to someone as I work out of contact hours :((

Physical damage to a SIM would normally only happen when inserting or removing it.

Are you able to visit an EE store to pick up a replacement?

I started getting the "no sim/invalid sim" message prior to removing
it from my phone in an attempt to reset my connection.
I will try to find a local store over the weekend that could help me.
