How do I speak to a human?

I am transferring to EE and I want to keep my old number. When I bought the new package I ticked the option to keep my old number and provided a PAC code.

It seems I still have to request the old number to be ported to this ne SIM. Is that right?

I went through the process to request the old number to be ported, but it complains about the PAC code not being valid - it is in the correct format of ABC123456 and it was entered correctly.

Do I still need to initiate this process, or does it start automatically by me activating the SIM card, based on the data I entered when I signed up?

TIA

Steve

As you've already supplied your PAC to EE the porting is already in progress. So any subsequent request to port the old number is superfluous & invalid. The PAC having already been used has now expired.

The port should complete with 1 working day of you activating the EE SIM on the EE network.
