Hi I want to order an Esim as a second connection to my iPhone 13 to use for 2FA for all my banking and the like so social engineering of you lot is less likely to get me hacked. I will obviously never tell anyone this phone number.
I get all the way to the checkout where I have to enter my bank details to set up the 24 month contract. So I have stopped there.
At no point can I select I want an Esim not a physical sim? When I in the ordering process can I select a Esim?

This will be a Second Number and separate Contract to or on the same Account, so best thing to do is go through the motions get the second SIM delivered get it all up and running, then change the new SIM over to an eSim

@WhatEverE You need a number to have an eSim and you get that number once you have a SIM card. Not sure what you mean by the social engineering of you lot is less likely to get me hacked. Customers tend to get hacked because they’ve been careless with their private information.

Hi Chris you have to excuse my attitude yesterday was in a bad mood.
So I buy a normal nano sim contract then I have the option to convert it to a Esim afterwards.

This obviously will not be a second account because my main public number has to be with a completely different provider. The whole purpose of this second number is to provide a disconnect from my main number. If banks actually allowed me to use 2FA hardware keys instead of text messages to reset my bank account I would not need to do any of this.
