Hello, my partner has an old lg phone and has at last agreed to update to a smart phone. She is on a monthly package for texts and calls and would like to continue with it but the phone she wants to get ( iPhone se 2020 ) uses a smaller sim. Are we correct in assuming that if she buys the phone which is sim free we could go to EE store and they would be able to put a new sim in and keep her contacts and use same phone number ?
Any help appreciated we are both technophobes

Yes, Take phone & old SIM into an EE shop with Photo ID & they'll transfer number, any SIM contacts & credit if applicable to a replacement SIM of correct size for free or order a replacement SIM online at Order a replacement SIM for £1.50 or phone CS for one. It will come as a Combi-SIM with all 3 sizes as push-outs.
