I requested a physical SIM card to replace the eSIM in my iPhone a couple of days ago. I'm still waiting for the physical SIM to arrive (delayed due to postal worker strikes) but this morning my eSIM appears to have been disconnected.
I seem to remember that last time I did this, part of the activation of the new SIM involved texting a code to my number. Is this still the case? How can this be done if my eSIM has already been disconnected?

Replacement SIM card finally arrived today and worked straight away.
